Our goal is
to raise money and awareness for the
Conservation Resource Alliance River Care Program.
In order to
meet these goals, we are asking for pledges from individuals and local
businesses to show support for land and water preservation and the spirit
of reaching new heights.
To become a member of the
Conservation
Resource Alliance and pledge support the climbing expedition, read
and fill out the below form.
With your
pledge of $40 or more, you will automatically become a member of the
Conservation Resource
Alliance, and receive a CRA T-shirt (see below)
and other member benefits (see below for member

Pledges
for feet of elevation climbed
The expedition in Peru will begin from moraine camp at 15,500 ft. and
climb to the summit of Alpamayo at 19,510 ft. If the team climbs successfully
to the summit they will have then ascended over 4,000 feet .
Pledge System
1¢ per foot would be a total pledge of $40
2¢ per foot would be a total pledge of $80
5¢ per foot would be a total pledge of $200
10¢ per foot would be a total pledge of $400
25¢ per foot would be a total pledge of $1,000
1$ per foot would be a total pledge of $4,000

T-shirt
CRA members
receive a T-shirt, bumper sticker, quarterly newsletter, invitations
for float trips and project tours, and a membership discount.

Funds Distribution
If a Title Sponsor is obtained for the expedition, 100% of the funds,obtained
through the above form, will be given to the Conservation
Resource Alliance.
If a Title Sponsorship
is not obtained and the expedition receives donations from multiple
sponsors and pledges, the proceeds from the above pledges
for feet of elevation climbed will be divided 50/50 between
the Conservation Resource Alliance and the Climbing for Conservation
expedition, up to the amount of 50% of the expedition costs. If the
total of donations, pledges and sponsors other than title sponsors reaches
this objective, all remaining dollars from the above form will go to
the CRA.
100% of funds
received from the Climb-A-thon will go to the Conservation Resource
Alliance. Additional sales of T-shirts and other climbing related fund
raising efforts and raffles will support the expedition.
